The previous incarnation of MarketRuler, called ioflux, worked as a technology partner with Vermont-based startup Union Street Media (a.k.a. CollegeXtra), and was responsible for the technology which makes them profitable today.

MarketRuler built a solid platform for Union Street Media and was directly responsible for the technology which created their success within the real estate market:

Developed Linux-based staging and revision management system, staging servers, code architecture
Set up and negotiated hosted server system, backup architecture, and staging systems
Customized off-the-shelf content management system and developed new functionality within e-commerce, forums, templates
Developed design architecture and trained staff on system development process
Clients could do 100% content management through a web administration
